When your retirement plan is with Schwab, participants have easy access to investing recommendations—including a toll-free line to Schwab Advice Services Representatives.1
Participants have a choice.
While online retirement planning tools have been available for a number of years, low usage rates throughout the industry suggest that many participants just aren't comfortable with tools alone. They want live interaction. With Schwab, they have both— convenient web tools plus personal support.
Advice by phone.
Participants can speak as often as they wish to Schwab Advice Services Representatives who can communicate and help them understand GuidedChoice recommendations, as well as implement the advice once they've made a decision. When a life event occurs or they feel the need to re-evaluate their financial situation, they can simply pick up the phone. And they can even schedule phone appointments to speak with the same representative each time.
Advice on the web.
Participants comfortable with the web have an easy-to-use tool that allows them to receive advice in minutes. To make it as simple as possible, the tool pre-fills plan-related data and accepts other information the participant may want considered. Then, a single click is all it takes to implement the advice.
Advice in person.
One-on-one consultations are available on-site when circumstances permit. Times can be scheduled in advance, or reps may be available on a walk-in basis when regular education sessions are scheduled.
It works.
